Spectral Dynamics controller calibration
Aspedyn offers a comprehensive support and calibration service for Spectral Dynamics controllers. These services are performed by our technicians, either at the customer's site or in our offices in France.
If you require a Cofrac certificate (or equivalent), Aspedyn also offers a calibration service according to the ISO 17025 standard for Lynx™, Puma™, Panther™ and Jaguar™ controllers.
Calibration of PIND systems
Aspedyn offers a calibration service for all PIND systems, from the PIND 4501 model to the PIND Felix™. A PIND calibration includes the following operations:
- inspection of the different components of the PIND system: controller, shaker and sensors; ;
- monitoring of the overall operation of the system; ;
- verification of vibration levels, shocks and acoustic detection thresholds; ;
- calibration and/or verification of the following components:
- the acoustic detection crystal; ;
- the sensor's accelerometer; ;
- the acoustic emitter of the STU; ;
- the STU signal generation unit; ;
- the PIND controller, with adjustment of offsets and values to obtain the required levels of acoustic, vibration and shock detection; ;
- the display system used to visualize particle noise; ;
- final verification of the operation of the entire system; ;
- writing the report, applying the calibration label and saving all measurements taken.
Calibration of accelerometers and sensors
Aspedyn offers an accelerometer calibration service. Our main test bench is equipped with a dedicated TIRA TV51140C shaker and a Spectral Dynamics Lynx™ controller, ensuring accurate measurement.
This system exhibits very low transverse stress and allows for high frequencies. The standard calibration of accelerometers extends from 5 Hz to 5 kHz for IEPE or load cells. Upon request and depending on the accelerometer type, the frequency range can extend from 1 Hz to 10 kHz.
Each sensor is returned with a full certificate and calibration label.
